Please read carefully before purchasing tickets. If you are purchasing tickets for others please make them aware of the rules. All attendees are responsible for knowing these rules in advance!

What are the age limits and ID requirements to enter the event?

Brews & Food Fest 2024 is a licensed event. Admission to the craft beverage vendors is by paid admission ticket only, purchased in advance online. Valid government photo ID must be presented at festival check-in along with your printed ticket. No exceptions. Accompanied minors, 6 – 18 years old, require an Accompanied Minor ticket. Accompanied children, 5 years old and younger, are admitted free. Parents / guardians are responsible for minors at all times during the event. (Please note: There are no age limits, ID requirements or tickets required to patronize the food trucks. Food trucks are located outside of the controlled area.)

Can I buy admission tickets at the festival?

Tickets are available exclusively on-line through our website. The size of our venue limits how many tickets we are allowed to sell. We expect to sell out! In the event that we do not sell out in advance there might be some tickets available at the gate on the day of the festival. (No guarantee!) We recommend you purchase your ticket(s) in advance.

Is parking available at the event?

There are numerous free parking areas nearby. We will be posting parking maps on our website closer to the event.

Are there any shuttle options available?

No. There are no shuttle options. You can pull up to the entrance and drop off passengers before proceeding to the parking areas.

I purchased a VIP ticket. Now what?

Your VIP ticket allows you access to the event an hour earlier (12:00 noon). Your ticket also includes free preferred parking and admission to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame Museum*. Check with us at the entrance for parking directions and to claim your Museum entrance ticket. *Museum entrance ticket is only good for the day of the festival.

What if I have food allergies / sensitivities?

Please speak to the vendors before consuming anything if you have food allergies / sensitivities. There will be no protections in place for patrons with food allergies / sensitivities.

Is smoking / vaping allowed?

In accordance with provincial and municipal regulations, smoking and vaping are NOT allowed at this event.

What if it rains?

This event goes ahead rain or shine. We do have a 300-person marquee tent on-site. Please plan accordingly.

Do I have to buy a ticket to patronize the food trucks?

No! Anyone, regardless of age, can patronize the food trucks. No ticket purchase necessary.

Can I leave the craft beer event to patronize the food trucks?

Yes! Your wristband allows you re-entry to the craft beverage event. No alcohol can be taken outside of the craft beverage event.

What is the refund policy?

If public health regulations (ie. COVID) force the cancellation of this event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund less Eventbrite fees. Otherwise, all ticket sales are final and are non-refundable under normal circumstances. However, in the very rare case that an extreme / emergency situation creates an unsafe environment it is possible that the festival location could be moved or the event could be rescheduled or (in only the most extreme case) canceled. Should this happen, we will post further details on our event website and social media about logistical changes, ticket exchanges, and refunds as soon as this information is available.

I can no longer attend the event. Can I sell my ticket to someone else, or give it to a friend?

Yes, tickets are transferable and you may sell your ticket to someone else for face value plus whatever service fee you were charged by Eventbrite, or less. You may also give your tickets away if you like. There is nothing special you need to do to transfer tickets to another person. Each ticket barcode will only scan one time.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. You must bring your printed ticket with a valid QR or bar code with you to be scanned to allow you entry to the festival.

If I enter on a Designated Driver ticket and change my mind, can I drink at the festival?

No! Anyone entering the festival on a Designated Driver ticket will not be served alcohol or permitted to drink alcohol at the event. Any Designated Driver found to be drinking alcohol will be immediately ejected from the event without refund or recourse. If you want to drink alcohol at the festival you should plan on buying a full-price drinking ticket.

Can I leave the festival and come back in later?

Yes. Wristbands are required for re-entry.

Where do I pick up my tokens and sampling glass?

You will receive these items upon entering the festival.

Why do I need to use tokens if I already paid for a ticket?

The event utilizes drink tokens and specially marked glasses to assure that we comply with AGCO regulations and have a controlled means of serving alcohol. All festival attendees are expected to willingly provide a token for each and every sample of alcohol received. Thank you for your cooperation which keeps us in compliance with provincial law.

Can I buy additional beverage tokens?

Yes! Additional beverage tokens are available online at a discount when you purchase your ticket(s) in advance. There will also be a beverage token sales station inside the craft beverage festival where beverage tokens can be purchased at full price. (Cash only!) Unused beverage tokens are non-refundable.

Do you have any soft drinks or other non-alcoholic refreshments available for Designated Drivers?

Water dispensers are placed throughout the festival for the use of all guests. Designated Driver and Accompanied Minor ticket holders will receive one soft drink upon entry. Additional soft drinks are available for purchase from the food trucks We encourage you to take the comfort of your Designated Driver into consideration when planning for the festival.

Is there food available at the festival?

Yes of course! We have a number of food trucks with menu items for purchase. Admission to the food trucks is open to the public without charge or age restrictions.

Can I bring empty growlers to the event to be filled?

No! Beer can only be consumed at the festival. You will not be allowed to leave the festival with any beer or alcohol.

What items am I allowed to bring into the festival with me?

Guests may bring purses, backpacks and umbrellas to the event. (Don’t forget the sunscreen!) Purses and backpacks may be subject to searches by Security. Outside food and drink are not allowed. (With the exception of food and drinks purchased from the food trucks.) The following items are not permitted in the craft beverage event: outside alcohol, grills, animals, bicycles, skateboards, rollerskates / rollerblades or motorized vehicles. (With the exception of licensed service dogs.)

What are the restroom facilities like at the festival?

We have outdoor “port-o-johns” and hand-wash stations set up at the festival. No inside bathrooms are available.

Are there ATMs at the festival for me to get cash for food, swag and additional tokens?

No. There are no ATMs at the festival. Cash is the only form of payment accepted at the festival.

I’d like to exhibit at the festival, is that allowed?

No. At this time all our event spaces are fully-booked. We do not allow the handing out of any literature, promotional material, swag or other items by the general public, attendees or businesses other than our participating vendors.

I am a craft beverage producer/food truck operator. I would like to participate in this festival. Who do I contact?

Use the “Contact Us” link on our website to reach us. If we have openings we will be happy to consider your request.

Is this event put on by the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame?

No. It is put on by the Rotary Club of St. Marys. The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum is not associated with the St. Marys Rotary Brews & Food Festival. We are grateful to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum for allowing us to run this event on their grounds. (Private Property)

Who is the Rotary Club of St. Marys?

The Rotary Club of St. Marys is a local service club chartered in 1925. We are part of Rotary International. The motto of Rotary is, “Service Above Self”. Our club has almost 40 members, – female and male. We meet weekly and support a large number of service projects locally and internationally. Funds raised at the Brews & Food Festival will be used by St. Marys Rotary to support our projects in the community and surrounding area.
